Acute Care is meant to address short-term concerns such as injuries, illnesses, and minor infections; for example:

  • sprained ankle, pulled muscle
  • sore throat
  • vomiting or
  • diarrhea and ear infection

Chronic illnesses linger or never go away.  Examples of chronic illnesses are diabetes or asthma.  We can assist in the management of chronic illnesses.
