Our Infusion Center is located in the St. Mary's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders located on the fourth floor of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center The Infusion Center is where patients receive chemotherapy, blood transfusions, intravenous fluid therapies, Iron Infusions, IM/SQ Injections, and other types of supportive care on an outpatient basis.

Our center is staffed by Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certified Nurses.  Our nurses are specialized in infusion therapy and our support staff helps with scheduling, telephones, and insurances.

To help patients pass time during treatment, we have a computer, I-Pad, magazines, DVDs, TV with DVD player, puzzles, and games. Patients may bring their personal devices, DVDs, etc., if they prefer.

We encourage family members to participate in patient treatment.  With certain medications, we may request that a responsible adult stay for the duration of the visit in the event the patient needs a ride home.

Food is permitted at the center. The Market Street Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch and is located in the hospital's main lobby at 93 Campus Avenue. Vending machines are located on the first floor in the hallway just past the Cecile J. Coulombe Emergency Center waiting room. Campus Cuisine is located across the street from the hospital in the St. Mary's Residences building at 100 Campus Avenue. Located on the first floor, it is accessible from the street or by using the underground tunnel, which connects the two locations.

Many of the patients we treat are very susceptible to infection. We ask that you please not come to the Center if you are ill (fever, cough, flu, etc.).  No children under the age of 13 are permitted in treatment areas. Please notify the staff as we may want to reschedule the appointment.

Our ultimate goal is to provide safe treatment for you. We work very hard to make this as pleasant as possible. Feel free to discuss your individual needs with us.
