Oncology Social Work/Patient Navigator Services

Our social worker is trained to address the special needs and concerns of individuals diagnosed with cancer. This important member of the team provides support and assistance in coping with practical and psychosocial issues related to a cancer diagnosis, such as housing, transportation, career concerns, financial concerns, coping with relationship stressors, bereavement, and advocacy.

Oncology Social Worker
Maura Clark is the oncology social worker at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Her role with patients, families, and caregivers is to provide support and assistance in coping with practical and psychosocial issues related to cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Patient Navigator
Jen Hazen is a highly trained oncology certified nurse. She will be your single point of contact to guide you from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. She will collaborate with other providers and services to help you navigate the health care system. Education is a vital part of your care. As a clinician, Jen is uniquely qualified to answer your questions about clinical care and support services.
