Nursing Care:
A team of specially trained nurses will provide direct care and coordinate the care provided by the multidisciplinary team. Services include:

Preventative care
Multidisciplinary team of physicians, physical and occupational therapists, nurses and case managers help patients and their families following surgery. A full range of exercise and therapeutic equipment is available to help gain mobility and highest level of independence. A wellness model is utilized. Patients will be expected to dress in street clothes (comfortable clothing versus "johnnies") and perform activities of daily living with minimal assistance. Opportunities for recreation and diversion will be available on the unit. Center for Joint Replacement
