Dear Sir or Madam:
My name is Robert P. Lacombe and I wish to share with you and your staff my experience as a patient at the Joint Replacement Center on four occasions.
I cannot find enough words in the Webster Dictionary to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Wayne Moody and his surgical staff, the nurses, the CNA's, the physical therapists, housekeeping staff, and food servers.
My first experience at. St. Mary's was in 2006 when I was involved in a head on automobile accident that required emergency surgery to my right knee. Dr. Moody performed the surgery and I was hospitalized four days and was transferred to d'Youville Pavilion's Physical Rehabilitation for fourteen days.
In 2009, Dr. Moody surgically performed a full left knee replacement at the Joint Center and d'Youville Reha Center for two weeks of rehabilitation.
On November 10, 2010, Dr. Moody surgically performed a full right knee replacement and a right hip replacement on January 26, 2011. On February 12 and after three weeks at d'Youville Pavilion Rehab Center, I went home able to walk without pain that I endured for months before the surgeries. My wife that supported and cared for me since becoming disable ten years ago from traumatic work related injuries was overwhelmed and delighted to have me back home to continue with the recovery period estimated to be three months.
I'm finally getting my life back thanks to all the aforementioned people responsible for providing the excellent health care anyone can pray for. Furthermore, I will not hesitate to recommend St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, d'Youville Pavilion Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Wayne Moody, and his staff to anyone in need of medical and health care.
I would be greatly appreciated if you would share my letter with all the staff personnel dedicated and always giving 100% in making sure that St. Mary's Regional Medical Center and its related facilities remain, in my opinion, the best medical and health provider in the State of Maine.
I would be extremely appreciative to hear from you, I am
Cordially yours,
Robert P. Lacombe
