The Health Sciences Library at St. Mary’s offers medical and nursing texts, plus consumer-friendly materials on topics related to health and wellness, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.   We also have an extensive video collection.   

Library Journals

The Library owns nearly 200 professional journal titles related to healthcare, some in print and some online.  These journals span a wide range of health topics.  Journals do not circulate, but a photocopier is available in the Library to copy articles of interest.

Library Book Collection

St. Mary’s Library’s online catalog is part of MaineCat’s Solar system.   To search our book collection, go to SOLAR  and enter the Title, Author, Subject, or Word of your choice.  A list appears of books in our Library that match your search terms.

You may run another search by clicking New Search at top of screen. 

If you click Home, however, your search will no longer be limited to only St. Mary’s book collection.
