Caroline Parent is the new Program Manager for Lifeline. Since it is a local program, she is able to build relationships with subscribers, and over a short time they have become her extended family. "Being able to see daily reports of subscribers using the service, and hearing the stories from the folks that I install or service, has made me passionate about getting Lifeline into as many homes as possible." Many times within a day or so after installing the Lifeline service, she will receive a notice that the subscriber had to use the Lifeline service. "It makes me wonder what would have happened to this person if they had not had the service. I am thankful to be a part of such a wonderful service that saves lives and provides peace of mind."
Make living alone safer, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Any time of day or night, when you need help, you simply press the Personal Help Button. Pressing the button activates a small in-home unit, called a Communicator, which then automatically dials the Lifeline Response Center.
In about a minute, a Lifeline monitor responds to you. If you need assistance, your monitor will send appropriate help. That may mean dispatching an ambulance. It may mean calling the fire department or the police if you hear suspicious noises. It may mean calling your next-door neighbor, who can come over to check on you.
Having instant access to help from your home is as easy as: calling to get the service started, wearing your Personal Help Button, and pressing the button when you need help.
In the event of a fall or emergency, the Lifeline Personal Help Button connects you or your loved one to a trained Personal Response Associate who can quickly send help day or night.
