The ELHS School-based Health Center offers care for both acute and chronic concerns.

What is acute care?

Acute care is meant to address short-term concerns such as injuries, illnesses and minor infections, for example:

• sprained ankle, pulled muscle
• sore throat
• vomiting or diarrhea
• ear infection

What is chronic care?

Chronic illnesses linger or never go away. İExamples of chronic illnesses are diabetes or asthma. We can assist in the management of chronic illnesses.
