MAINE COVENANT 

Maine Covenant is a not-for-profit division of Sisters of Charity Health System, Inc. made up of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, Community Clinical Services, Inc., and other affiliated physicians. The organization is similar to a Physician-Hospital Organization (PHO) except it is managed totally by Sisters of Charity Health System.

Physicians who choose to affiliate with the Maine Covenant are able to participate in managed care contracts that are negotiated on behalf of Maine Covenant members. This allows managed care companies to sign one contract with the Maine Covenant versus them contracting with each individual provider separately.
