St. Mary's Residences is an Independent Senior Living Facility with 128 individual one-bedroom efficiency sized apartments has 128 private apartments reserved exclusively for the elderly and/or handicapped. It offers tenants the independence of living on their own. The apartments are two-room suites with a private bathroom. Amenities and conveniences are described below.
About the Facility
There are 128 apartment units all containing one bedroom, living room, full bath and kitchenette with refrigerators. Tenants may provide microwaves, toaster ovens and other plug-in appliances. There are several sizes mostly designed for single occupants with some larger units for couples, and some ADA units available as well.
The building is nestled on the St Mary’s Health System campus directly across from the St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, medical offices, and next to St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion Nursing Home.
It has 11 card-operated laundry rooms with full size appliances, activity room, Marcotte Chapel, library, cafeteria (Campus Cuisine), and a climate controlled tunnel access to the hospital, and hallway to the nursing home.
St. Mary’s maintains a no-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited within all buildings and only allowed in designated outside areas.
There are 100 apartment units in the HUD moderate-rehab subsidy program, and 28 units in the market rent (private-pay) category. For rates and other details regarding the programs, contact the St. Mary’s Residences’ office at 207-786-0062.
