National Asthma Education and Prevention Program NHLBI's Web site offers more information regarding asthma under the Lung Diseases portion of Patients and General Public Health Information section.

American Lung Association of Maine The American Lung Association of Maine has an asthma topic page that offers relevant statistics on asthma health in Maine and links to other asthma sites.

Maine Asthma Council   The Maine Asthma Council is comprised of over 50 members, representing 40 separate organizations and individuals.  The collaborative efforts of these public/private partnerships form the grass-roots efforts of the Council, to address the issue of asthma in Maine.  The web site provides information about the work of the Council, including the Public Health Action Plan for Asthma in Maine.
