Building better care for you . . .

The current Emergency Department was built in 1990 to accommodate between 20,000 and 25,000 visitors annually.  Since then, our volume has increased to over 30,500 per year.

We are currently undergoing an expansion which will triple the size of the facility.  The new Emergency Department will consist of 30 private exam rooms, separated by walls instead of curtains.  The rooms will be larger, so patients and their families will be more comfortable.  The added space also allows the latest technology to be placed at the bedside.

The expansion includes a separate entrance, waiting, and treatment areas for behavioral patients.  Furthermore, the new layout separates adult from pediatric behavioral patients to provide more individualized/specific care.
