The staff and providers at Women’s Health Associates attend to the needs of women of all ages and stages in life. The integrated practice means that you can choose to have their care from one of four certified nurse-midwives or one of six obstetricians/gynecologists. Women's Health Associates is  A Federally Qualified Health Center.

Well-Woman Care

Women are the gatekeepers to their families’ health. If they aren’t healthy, their family isn’t healthy. The providers at Women’s Health Associates provide well-woman care, which includes preventive medicine, annual exams, breast care, and some primary care services.

Prenatal, Delivery, and Postpartum Care

Having a baby is one of the most joyful events of a lifetime. The staff at Women’s Health Associates will help you create the experience you are looking for. Our family-centered maternity care provides individual attention, comprehensive services, and a wealth of resources to guide you through this meaningful time.

While most pregnancies are normal and healthy, Michael Pinette, MD, and Joseph Wax, MD, Maine Medical Center's Maternal-Fetal Medicine, are available once a month to provide on-site special high-resolution ultrasounds, amniocenteses, and consultations for women with high-risk pregnancies.
