Class 1 - What is Diabetes?
A certified diabetes educator will explain what diabetes is and basics to keep blood sugars under control, including a discussion of pills, insulin and other medications . You will also learn about high and low blood sugar and blood sugar testing, and when to call your doctor.

Class 2 - Complications of Diabetes.
A certified diabetes educator will and teach you to manage your diabetes to prevent complications and talk about exercise and how to begin or continue with your exercise program.

Class 3 - Meal Planning.
A registered dietitian will review diabetes meal planning with you. You will learn about healthy choices, label reading, and important nutrients.
