Our Pulmonologists also treat sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, which can be caused by the condition of the lungs and respiratory system.

Sleep Disorders

The Respiratory Care department is staffed by full-time licensed respiratory care practitioners (RCP). Medical direction is provided by a board-certified pulmonologist. Inpatient respiratory care services are available twenty-four hours per day 365 days per year. Outpatient respiratory diagnostics are available through the Pulmonary Function Laboratory Monday through Friday.

Scheduling

We ask that you schedule routine appointments in advance. We make every effort to accommodate urgent appointment requests as soon as possible. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance. If you expect to be delayed for your appointment, please call to let us know.

Office Visits

We want to help you make the most of every visit. Here are some tips to help you achieve this goal.

Before the Visit:

  • Please request a referral from your primary care physician if your insurance plan requires a referral.
  • Please check-in when you arrive. First-time patients should arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete new patient paperwork.
  • We ask that you bring your current insurance information and card to assist us in proper billing.

At the Time of Your Visit:

  • Please bring all medications, pills, creams, inhalers and over-the-counter medications that you are currently taking.
  • We suggest you wear comfortable clothing that can be removed easily, if necessary.
