Ultrasound is an integral part of the Diagnostic Cardiology services provided by St. Mary’s. Identifying and treating heart disease and its complications requires state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as the Philips iE33 which produces excellent 2D and 3D images during Echocardiograms, Stress Echocardiograms, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms. A superbly trained staff operates this equipment. All three cardiac sonographers are certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
St. Mary’s new affiliation with MaineHealth Cardiology provides patients with access to the finest cardiologists in the State of Maine, namely: James Parker, MD, FACC, Roy Ulin, MD, FACC, and Lynette Weeman, DO, FACC.
