Nurses at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center are committed to involving you, your family, and support persons in making decisions about your care to ensure it is personalized to your needs. Our RNs use evidence based practice to assure your care is the best it can be and many are recognized as experts in their field through certification in nursing organizations such as oncology, emergency, medical-surgical, geriatrics, and cardiac care.
While at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, you may receive care from Certified Nurses' Aides (CNA) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's) both licensed by the State of Maine and key members of your care team. Your interactions with LPNs and CNAs is in collaboration with and under delegation of the RN, to provide physical care, comfort or nutritional needs.
